After hours, you can find Lynn running up in the mountains, at Orange Theory, the gym, a get together with her friends or maybe even at the office! Lynn LOVES to stay busy and feels her best when she doesn’t have any time for the extras. She believes that “where there’s a will, there’s a way,” and she emulates that in her every day life.

On the weekends, if she isn’t out with clients, you can find her blasting techno music while she organizes her house. However, it isn’t all work for Lynn, she also has a license plate that says “Just Live” and does just that every single day.”

“I married my high school sweetheart in 1979 and had every intention of pursing a career in the computer programming field. An unexpected tragedy in family changed that! My mom was killed in an accident which left me with a 12 year old handicapped brother and a 4 year old nephew to raise. I had my first child in 1983 and when I became pregnant with my second child in 1985 I decided that it was impossible for me to continue a 9 – 5 job with a long commute.

I needed flexible hours. It was then that I decided to get my real estate license. Arnold and Marty Stringham were just starting their pre-licensing school. They brought their live classes to Price (where I was living). I think I paid $150.00 and started the classes. I licensed as a Broker in 1989. In 1993 I purchased a local Century 21 office and became a competing principal broker.

After 25 years and a divorce, we sold the company and I experienced burn out for the first time ever.

I moved to Draper and went back to school at the U of U. I am also a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor. Luckily I kept my brokers license! I worked for the VA in Addiction Research. I loved the job but the studies were all grant based studies. An old friend whom I mentored years ago hussled me back in to real estate. That was about 5 years ago.

I love the business again. I will never again let the business interfere with me and my kids and grandkids. I have learned so much over the past 35 years and have never been happier!”
